Parents

• Loving and supportive of their child
• Encouraging their effort, NOT praising ability or talent
• Look for involvement within the club i.e., game day set up, bbq, training help
• Respectful of coach’s / officials decisions and coaching
• Respectful of opposition teams and supporters

Players

• Enjoyment, if you’re not enjoying playing or training let the coach / team official know
• Respectful of team mates and opposition, bullying will not be tolerated
• Use of manners to game day officials and ground staff
• Listening and paying attention to the coach / team official when they’re speaking
• Help pack up after training

We’re all here to enjoy ourselves and as coach’s / team officials we strive to encourage your child to enjoy rugby league for the wonderful game it is, hoping these children learn the skills and knowledge to play rugby league better and develop into kind respectful people through the life lessons rugby league can bring.
